About Dev Digest

Curated updates on software, AI, and tech culture

Dev Digest is a space for developers, product builders, and tech enthusiasts who want to stay informed without drowning in noise. Think of it as your weekly coffee chat with a friend who actually reads the docs, tries the new frameworks, and has opinions worth hearing.

You'll find bite-sized headlines, thoughtful analysis, and hands-on guides covering software development, artificial intelligence, platform releases, and the industry buzz. No fluff, no clickbait—just concise news, tooling rundowns, practical tutorials, and behind-the-scenes stories that help you move faster.

What you'll get here

  • Deep dives into JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Practical architecture guides and real-world engineering tradeoffs
  • Performance, accessibility, and developer tooling insights
  • AI-assisted workflows, embeddings, and RAG implementations
  • Full-stack patterns with Prisma, tRPC, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis

This isn't just another tech blog. It's a digest—curated, opinionated, and built for people who code for a living (or just really love it). Whether you're shipping features at 2 AM or exploring new tools on a lazy Sunday, there's something here for you.

About the Author

Hi, I'm Aman Raj 👋

I'm a full-stack developer based in Jaipur, India, and I spend most of my time building things on the web. Sometimes they work on the first try. Most times they don't. But that's the fun part, right?

I work with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js—the usual suspects. I like designing clean frontends with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, and I enjoy the puzzle of building robust backends with Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and platforms like Appwrite and Supabase.

I've worked on everything from event booking platforms to AI-powered developer tools. Some projects ship, some don't. Some get users, some get crickets. But every single one teaches me something new, and that's what keeps me going.

When I'm not coding, I'm probably reading about code, thinking about code, or pretending I'm not thinking about code. I also contribute to open source when I can, and I've had the chance to work with some great teams along the way.

This blog is my way of sharing what I learn, what I build, and what I think is worth your time. If you find something useful here, that's awesome. If you disagree with something, even better—let's talk about it.
